I just applied for disability but heard you may need an attorney. Some people say it takes two years.

with schizophrenia I got it the first time I applied…were you hospitalized with sz last year?

I got it 3 months after applying. However, I know people who took years and many appeals to get it

No I’ve been working and quitting jobs since my hospitalization in 2018.

well you should get it if you are diagnosed with schizophrenia.

This makes me feel a little bit better but I have schizoaffective bipolar subtype so I don’t know if that will make a difference.
that shouldn’t matter as long as you say you can’t concentrate any longer and you can’t work.
For me and my location it took me a year my first time. I used a lawyer service though.
