I like fiction and true crime and biography.. I read the butcher by Philip Carlo that book is amazing.. if u like biography I strongly recommend heavier then heaven-kurt cobain

I just started a book by Khalil gibran. It’s a poetical novel. I can’t say what it’s about because it violates forum rules.
I’ve also been reading Cynthia Erivo’s autobiography, it’s really good.
And I started a book on yoruban religion recently

I enjoy a little true crime too. I highly recommend T.J. English’s “The Westies.” It’s about an Irish Mafia that basically ruled what used to be called “Hell’s Kitchen” in New York. Very riveting read.
I also like horror fiction books, and books about weird movies that have cult followings. Also books about horror movies. I have this gigantic book called “Nightmare USA” that I need to try and read one day. I think it might even be out of print.

I have some physics popular books in my bedroom, namely richard feynman and stephen hawkins.
I also have some books from my parents which i also have barely touched.
But tbh my go to is chatgpt. It has helped me immensely.

Ill definitely look into the westies.. I love Stephen King when I was finished reading pet semetary I was so scared I jumped off my bed took a pee and jumped back on my bed. I felt k ike a 5 year old haha

Its about a girl who finds out her boyfriend has another partner and shes not the main partner. So she quits her job ( where he also works) and is struggling with meaninglessness and despair when her quirky uncle contacts her asking if she would like to live in the room above his bookstore and take care of it during the day. She accepts and doscovers a love of books and with the Uncles love fixes her life.
It gave me the lesson i’ve been needing to hear and i can’t wait to apply it. Also it made me realize that i need to express my anger, so I am gonna save up for a drumkit..

I read a variety of things. Eastern Christian Theology, for example The Philokalia. Other times I read biographies and self help books. Cook books occasionally if I need inspiration in the kitchen.
