I have a lot of belly fat and skin.

It looks like I have just given birth

I need to start my diet on 1.5.2026

In 1 minute.

Im going to my partners house for 3 days to help me kickstart.

Hey @Zoe . These pictures are a little too intimate for here. Obviously you have a little build up of excess weight. I have it myself.

I am going to remove the pictures but leave your thread intact for those that wish to comment.

One can of Coke has 39g of sugar (≈ 10 teaspoons). Yes, it would contribute to weight gain.

is two cans of coke a day too much for good health

Short answer: for most people, yes—two cans of Coca-Cola a day is more than what’s considered healthy.

Here’s why it adds up:

Sugar load

  • One regular 12 oz can has ~39g of sugar

  • Two cans = ~78g sugar per day

  • The American Heart Association recommends:

    • Men: max ~36g/day

    • Women: max ~25g/day
So you’re at 2–3× the recommended limit just from soda.

Health effects over time

  • Weight gain (liquid calories don’t fill you up much)

  • Higher risk of Type 2 diabetes

  • Increased risk of heart disease

  • Tooth enamel damage from sugar + acidity

Caffeine

  • Two cans ≈ 70 mg caffeine total — not a big issue for most people, but still adds up if you drink other caffeinated stuff.

A more realistic target
You don’t have to quit cold turkey, but:

  • Cutting to 1 can/day is already a meaningful improvement

  • Even better: a few per week instead of daily

Easy swaps

  • Sparkling water (still gives you the fizz)

  • Diet soda (not perfect, but much lower risk than full sugar)

  • Water with a splash of juice

Meds make my appetite crazy too i understand.

And not binge eating is difficult

Good luck to us, it is maybe worth a try

Hey Zoe, for lunch today I had a 10 piece McNuggets and a diet coke. Not cooking at home today because I can’t bend over to get my pots and stuff. Really hurts to move. Still not too many calories when eating out. I got a box of pasta and sauce for when I can move again.

That sounds good; you are not binge eating; IDK if that is something you do but the fact you did not for lunch is good. Nice that you got some protein and then some carbs for another time; sounds balanced.

sorry to hear about your back? I did not know

I had a surgery for a pilonidal cyst yesterday. Thats around the tailbone area. They carved out a huge hole in a special surgery because the previous surgeries didn’t work. Hurts like hell to sit down or get up an down. Probably swelling that will go down soon. They gave me oxycodone and tylonel.

And yeah I do binge eat sometimes. It’s hard to resist food because invega makes you super hungry. Trying to stop that I think it’s like any drug gotta taper down slow on the food or you get withdrawals.

wow okay you are brave for going through with that surgery I see you had no choice, but still.

Wishing you a good recovery. It is good they got rid of it cos that is not something that you want to spread to your spine.

yea we just gotta do what we can, not more; regarding the binge eating thing.

I had rice, dates, vegetables and a seed mix for protein. Want to be vegan.

I do not like cooking much atm and I cannot afford much so I just cook rice every morning and that is me done for the day with regards to cooking

That sounds healthy. Nice thing about healthy stuff is you can eat a lot of it and not feel bad.

So I chop off a piece of fresh ginger and put it in a flask of boiled water and give it a shake.
