Wow....time really flies...and other things related to Christmas

Its nearly Christmas……the visions of sugar plumbs are dancing in your heads and all that jazz.

It came on so quick. Only 3 days to Christmas eve when the celebrations start for me.

Im looking forward to it. I enjoy giving out presents and the food. Of course, I dont have to cook.

My dad was saying that he will be glad when its over. The cooking, the decorations, the buying presents and wrapping. I dont think he enjoys it very much.

What about you? Is this a time of year you enjoy? or hate? Or somewhere inbetween?

For many people the holidays are the saddest time of the year.

I’ll be spending Christmas with my girlfriend and cat, just like any other day. I have no biological family that I’ll be visiting, but I know I have more than many people.

The holidays make me think back of Christmases gone by. The truth is that they sucked, but time has a way of romanticizing and creating unrealistic expectations.

It may be the most wonderful time of the year for some, but it’s the saddest time of the year for others.

I feel so busy getting ready for this Christmas and I’m not sure why. It didn’t feel like this for previous Christmases.

I enjoy this time of year. Makes me nostalgic and giving gifts is my way of showing appreciation to my family for all the care they give me throughout the year. Spending time with family, namely my grandpa and parents, is what I enjoy the most. Also, the food is great lol

I also like the music…don’t hate me lol /ducks

I generally like this time of year. I didn’t drive myself/nor my bank account crazy this year with gifts. Just bought a few things for the immediate family members.

I think a lot of the commercialization of Christmas drives people nuts/or makes them depressed and I feel it sort of hurts the true spirit of what the holiday is all about.

I’ve been pretty irritable lately.

The Holiday season is a pretty hectic stress inducing time for me.

I get easily overwhelmed and sad.

It’s also a time where memories of my deceased Mom linger most

There is a lot of drama this year in my family but it’s still my favorite time of year. I love finding just the right gifts for people and seeing their reactions. I also love being with friends and family. So for me, it’s a good time of year. I just am taking the drama in stride and not letting it get to me.

I usually start thinking about Christmas around August or September. I love getting gifts for people and making cookies.
