Any other holistic remedies for accompanying anxiety & low mood?

I’ll probably give it a try sometime soon. I really want prolonged relief. My panic disorder went into almost complete remission last month.

My panic disorder is very severe to the point that for me its indistinguishable to medical problems.

Do you have agoraphobia?

Quite the opposite, really.

Are you in a constant state of panic?

Usually it lasts for hours

I used to take Inositol for anxiety at higher doses.

So it’s situational specific? Is it worse when you’re around people?

Not at all. I have it anyhow

Yeah mine last for like 6 hours. I have to go to the ER and get a shot. It really sucks but I got thru it so can you.

[Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an effective, evidence-based therapy for anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias, by helping the brain reprocess distressing memories and reduce their emotional charge. Using bilateral stimulation (e.g., eye movements, tapping) while focusing on anxiety-inducing triggers, it reduces both psychological distress and physical symptoms of anxiety, often faster than traditional talk therapy.]–AI Overview

Have you tried EMDR?

Usually in the evenings and nights but I can get episodes during the afternoon although those are manageable.

I beat a panic disorder through therapy…in therapy, I learned that “unplugging the fear” associated with panic attacks and anxiety is the way to beat it…you have to immediately divert and focus your mind on some happy memorie or place when you feel the fear building…it takes a lot of practice but I feel great now and haven’t had a panic attack in almost over a decade. good luck.

I’ll try doing that RN

In my case it’s hard because I experience symptoms like breathlessness all the time

unplug the fear….you can beat it…takes practice like I said…focus on something in the palm of your hand like a polished stone or crystal…something you can grasp easily and focus on it.
