I’d like to ask members of this community if they have managed to find anything other than L-theanine and Omega-3 fatty acids which works their their anxiety and low mood.
Magnesium lowers my anxiety and improves my mood.
I take a chelated magnesium glycinate. It doesn’t cause me stomach upset or diarrhea.
Deep, restorative sleep is very important. Have you tried magnesium?
I’ve been taking L-theanine 400mg with added B6 for about 3 weeks now and it seldom helps with my anxiety. I’m buying another brand and even getting extended release L-theanine too.
I take Magnesium glycinate with just over 200mg of elemental magnesium in total.
How is your sleep? Are you waking up tired?
Usually, I wake up just fine but sometimes I do feel a bit tired due to how little I sleep.
Do you have insomnia? I can do some research if you want.
Only when I have panic attacks and thus anxiety.
Have you tried exercise? Like riding a stationary bike?
I have two 5kg dumbells which I sometimes use for exercise albeit rarely.
30 mins of cardio will do wonders, hell even 15
I think aerobic exercise is better because it changes your breathing.
In my case, I also have severe panic disorder and anxiety which can cause psychotic symptoms.
Do you take a benzo?
No but I’m going to get medication for acute anxiety.
Which I’ll only take during true emergencies and not something I can ward off within an hour.
Yeah, have you tried any type of therapy?
I’m very likely getting CBT on the 30th at the latest.
