Im interested in this topic alot of people blame pot on there mental illnesses
I think ritalin caused a early onset but i smoked pot AFTER my first hospitalization actually 3 hospitalizations before i even tried pot

Possibly. IDK. My sense is that I had some warning signs as a kid growing up, but I used the drug accutane at 16 just before onset of psychosis, which it is known to cause it. Also weed since 13. Who knows.
I think that it sped up the process
I believe a few bad acid trips triggered my schizophrenia. I believe I would have become schizophrenic if I had never taken acid but it just hastened the onset. Pot probably played a part too.
I think from a head injury in football in school I got a bad concussion.. and for sure maruijuana
Always been a little off, but I think the drugs defos exacerbated things.

No drugs for me. I have had trauma and a lot of stress, so maybe an environmental component. That said, I’ve always felt off since I was a very young boy.
No drugs. Very much stress driven. There was nowhere near the level of help and support back then, as a child and teenager. as is available now. It was very much the ‘dark ages’
Sometimes I have a belief a former colleague that I was in conflict with drugged some cookies she offered a day at work, because that was one of the last things that happened before my first psychosis.
I know it’s theoretically possible, but she was offering the cookies to others as well, so then she would have to somehow predict which one I would take.
I know it’s almost certainly a disillusion, but the thought lingers in the back of my head. Silly, I know.
I think genetics, trauma, chronic stress, and mdma overdose.
Recipe for disaster
I was diagnosed at 22 and hadn’t had anything harder than a margarita on my 21st birthday and a wine cooler every now and then so idk what caused mine
I took CBD before I went to the hospital but was in psychosis for 2 years before that.
I hadn’t smoked pot or used a drug for over a year when I got psychosis. I was under a lot of stress as I had a big fight coming up and actually fought and won while I was psychotic.
I tried Marijuana the first and second times almost 40 years sheet my first psychosis. And I now know it makes my paranoia particularly bad

No drugs or thugs here lol. I was a good girl who stayed out of trouble. I’ve never even had a puff of a cigarette. D.A.R.E. told me no drugs, and I listened hehehe.
I have never tried drugs, I just got unlucky.
No drugs really, just inbuilt reasons, prodromal symptoms and all from an early age.
