God I'm getting fat

I’ve gained twenty pounds in two months. I look ugly

I doubt you look ugly, but it’s common to gain weight in summer due to being indoors a lot from the heat.

Exercise. Running does wonders for the human body. I am obese and am losing weight. Long way to go for me.

I’m fat but I work out more these days. Maybe you can get to the park and walk?

Good idea but I’m afraid to go out

@Turtle , there are free workout videos you can do at home on YouTube and prime. I’m sure other channels have them too

That said, I don’t think 180 lbs is fat, or that you look bad. However I do understand that it’s different from what you’re used to and it’s not what you want. Im also working on losing weight.

Treadmill or stationary bike or aerobics in the house …

I know the feeling, I used to be 150 and I got up to 225 on Zyprexa. I’m down to 212 now because of a GLP-1 drug that I qualify for because I’m pre-diabetic. And it’s no picnic, I basically can’t enjoy eating anymore except for one cheat meal per week when my last dose is wearing off and right before I inject the new one.

I don’t even care about my stomach being big, I just dislike what it’s done to my face. People tell me it’s not a big deal but I really like how I used to look. Maybe I’m vain.

Burn the fat by sweating off the adipose tissue when exercising. Losing 1-pound to 3-pounds of sweat & water a day will accumulate over the days, weeks & months.

Diet. Water. Activity. Rest. Theres specific things you gotta do in each category. It can be hard making changes, but the things themselves sre easy. You don’t have to run, but walking a bit is considered minimum.

I was at 142 lbs a year and a half…they started me on clozapine and I had to stop the Mounjaro while I had ECT…ended up at 204 lbs since then. I’m back on the Mounjaro but I’m still constantly hungry and I can’t go off clozapine cuz it’s really helped me mentally. I hate how I look but it’s better than spending all my time in the hospital…

180 is still a decent body…you can lose the weight…try eating on saucers instead of plates…

I would rather be fat and happy sometimes on meds, weight stable ten yrs, than on a starvation diet constantly worrying about being fat?

What is peoples obsession with losing weight? Body weight is better stable than yoyo ing

@Ducky , the more I weigh, the worse my lab numbers get. So I eat protein, fruits, and veggies and I’m trying to lose weight. My body feels better when I weigh less and exercise, which is very important for health, is much easier when I’m at a healthy weight.

My mum has yo yo ed her whole life She exercises and eats healthy

Fat people exercise and eat healthy, not all fat people end up at 600lbs like the tv show and not all have bad diets

I get out for walks. Im quite happy with being fat, no problem with it

And yes it annoys me when people look down there noses at fat people. We werent all meant to look the same

Im not saying you @Lilyofthevalley im just saying a lot of people do

I see where you’re coming from. Yes, I agree that no one should judge an overweight person. Everyone has issues. No one is perfect. I have an easier time getting around etc at a lower weight which is why I’m trying to lose. Actually, my husband prefers me bigger, not huge, but not the size 6 I was when we met. He likes me best at like a 14/16 size. But I feel better smaller so I want to lose. You do you @Ducky  If you feel good, that’s all that matters
