This is a hypothetical. Schizophrenic men are alone, face loneliness and yet want a woman. However, never considered the repercussions of a divorce that the woman may request for whatever reason. Ever thought about it?

No I am hesitant to marry if I have kids and then divorce the schizophrenia will be used against me

Ive never been married. However, I am aware that divorce rates in the West are over 50% for a long time. Breakup rates for any relationship are also high, not sure, but I imagine could be 99.9% even. Very risky getting in relationships for various reasons.
Did you get divorced? For years you posted the unfolding saga of the Disney ring you purchased, and a couple years ago were engaged to a pretty woman you met at work.

Well, men can divorce women too. As a woman I had my mental illness used against me but in the end, we ended up with joint custody in the divorce. But it was scary that I could lose my child over it. It had been my ex’s threat against me - “ you can leave but you’ll never see x again “. It was my worst nightmare. However, I did remarry and I’m very happy now

I left my husband twice but returned to him. When I left him it was due to my fear of his post ictal psychosis from his epilepsy. But he stuck by me through my sza relapses. We’re still married after 14 years. It’s hard but we love each other and came to an understanding.

I have a house and a retirement pension. I’m not giving things away if a woman likes another man. That’s a bad deal. I don’t expect a woman to be with me and not be taken care of either. If I’m old and she’s old I’d leave everything to a wife I have no kids so.

Well pretty much resigned to solitary confinement caused by mental illness, so not really idea I entertain. But hypothetically at least where I am coming from you can keep your assets separate in eyes of law. And there is no mandate to marry anyone anyway. Just live life however you wish I say, warts and all.

She is a “career woman” of whom has place earning an income first instead of birthing a child, yet. I only question her ability to conceive a baby since she is almost 40-years now.
