The quality of the site is as good as the old schizophrenia.com forum, IMO. We appear to be getting a few members off the internet in addition to all the old members. Everyone is being generous with funds to keep the site going. Etc, etc.

Could you open a support call and put in a feature request asking for the permanent delete function to be able to delete entire threads in one go?
Because it’s the disc space that’s going to cause trouble in about a year or so.
As far as I’m aware, the people hosting this site are also the people who wrote the software.
I will put in a request for this, yes. I actually believe if i control the old files after they are locked(delete old sefies, memes, uploads, etc), I can extend the storage space for a very long time.
I am working on a patreon site right atm.
Edit: A mostly text site,besides the currently used uploads, will last forever.
One of the reasons I thought of that makes me cautious to move to a different host, is that we are getting our google search results through this host. We currently come up fairly high with certain search criteria. This makes new members possible. IF we switch, we will probably lose this benefit.
I think it’s possible we’ll lose this benefit when the old site goes offline.
It’s linking to us at the moment via the posts. The way Google works is if a high ranking site links to another site , then it makes that linked site (this site) more important.

We appear to have gotten five new members from this way. I can tell because anyone following the invite is automatically promoted to “basic” trust level of 1. Wheras anyone following the forum url starts out at trust level 0 (new user I think). We have 5 users at level 0
I have contacted support asking if they can work on getting a full topic delete.
