Thankyou @Watchers you understand very well. I keep reaching out thats all i can do to get me through.
You got this! You have more support than you know ![]()
@Watchers couldnât have said it better.
Itâs understandable that youâre spiraling right now. I agree with finding things that ground you and help focus you in the present moment. It helps me a lot to do that.
Please know your responses to life are normal and reasonable. Now you just need to develop coping mechanisms that work for you to help manage it and be able to feel a little better (or once you get good at it a lot better). It really is possible to cope well with time and practice.
That said, itâs ok that youâre not there yet. Youâre only human. Be kind to yourself and work on those skills as youâre able.
I truly believe you can do it ![]()
Thankyou sincerely. I appreciate your advice and encouragement. Take care @Watchers @Lilyofthevalley
Nothing to see
I apologize @ducky. I forgot about your suicidal tendencies.
Thatâs quite severe like you say. Please forgive me.
In regards to the rest being normal, you are a very stressed out person dealing with multiple issues. Itâs normal under those circumstances to be overwhelmed and even to feel defeated and depressed at times.
That doesnât mean you need to stay that way though. There is hope and you can get better. Life can get better.
I was extremely suicidal and depressed and paranoid and afraid to leave me home for a very long time. I work in an office now and am no longer suicidal. Iâm hoping you see thereâs hope for you too.
Sophrology has shown to be helpful in some types of illness, but lacks proof in some of its claims. In addition, many people who promote this also promote pseudoscientific knowledge. My only statement is that it needs to be used in addition to medications/therapies and is not standalone. Iâd like to see more statements by medical doctors on this. Many French doctors do not promote it and the question is why.
Iâll reopen this so @ducky can have support. Maybe just steer away from the sophrology part.
Thanks @sweetpotatopie appreciate it
Yep its hard
Thanks for understanding
@Ducky i totally get it. For learning coping skills, I did DBT therapy. Itâs usually for people with borderline personality disorder and I donât have that. But it helps everyone in my opinion. Can you look into seeing if you can get DBT therapy? Itâs got workbooks and a little homework each day, but it really helps.
