He had throat surgery last week and im worried about him he’s nil by mouth and is on morphine and antibiotics for an infection. Should hopefully find out where the infection is soon. He has high temp and chest pain and can’t even walk out of his room without it being too much. Im wired tonight worrying so much nobody knows yet what is wrong. I hope he gets better soon.

This is a very slow time of day. Not as many members are on at this time as other times of the day and there’s fewer total members on the entire forum site in general as the other forum had. That may explain why no one answered. I’m sorry about your brother, I hope he’ll be OK. Give people a break, this is actually a very supportive site.

My brother had a ct scan last night showed a small puncture to his oesophagis. Dont know if it will heal by itself. And not sure where his infection is. Its scary tbh

My brother is off the morphine and oxygen. He’s nil by mouth still but having nutrition feeder. He is able to sit up and walk around now
Its just i dont know whether the puncture to oesophagus will heal or if he needs another operation? Will keep you updated. Ive been very upset over the whole thing. He has a wife and teenage daughter, my neice. He works very hard.
My mental health has been worse this week and feeling very tired im just down atm too

Well it sounds like they’re taking care of him. I hope he heals fully and quickly. I’m sorry your mental health isn’t good. Maybe take time to do self care like walks in nature, aromatherapy, hot baths…
