Ive been struggling with a kind of dysphagia which was initially diagnosed gerd for over three years since stopping paliperidone/ invega.
At first I could ride a bike long distances with it, but now I can hardly walk an extended distance.
If I lay in bed all day it seems to be fine. I have been in bed all day so far and the symptoms are minimal, but I know if I get up and go for a walk I will have panic attacks and a very distressing kind of esophageal urging.
I got severe dysphagia from seroquel. Not sure what med you’re on. Maybe a med side effect?
it started after witgdrawal from paliperidone. it has worsened on rexulti but i cant be sure its worsening it
Trazodone also gave me swallowing issues, and perphenazine did too. Its a possible side effect of antipsychotics. But I dont get it anymore, as long as I stay away from those meds.
i’ll have to discuss it with pdoc
I had gerd on clozapine…was a nightmare; esp at night.
