Yeah, we get those. I had a big argument with my sister right before I was due to start working so I explained it to my boss and he gave me the day off! My job has some perks.
wow, your boss sounds super cool, I hope you had a nice day anyway.
I am now a working man myself and I am hoping to build on it, its hard to work with cfs/me but I don’t walk far, its little 3 minutes walks at a. time so its doable, I thought a janitor or building manager is a good job, but idk if I could do anymore than I am now.
I’m struggling emotionally after losing my job. I mean I was put in a position where I could either put in my notice or get fired for needing 2 days off this month. I needed them of for medical tests.
I’m so ashamed. I feel like a loser.
I need to work again financially but I think I need a break.
Really sorry about that… when did it happen recently? I didn’t see you post about it that’s why I’m wondering but I have been away for a while. Your not a loser your a great person, but I understand how you feel. Sometimes I get down on myself for not working at the moment but it’s super hard. Don’t be too hard on yourself ok…
My last day was February 25th. I was told I need too much time off and needed to either cancel my tests or schedule them at times that don’t affect my work hours which is impossible. So I put in my notice. @POET
I see hmm.. well your health has to come first so kuddos to you for doing that fr. It’s the smartest choice. You’ll find something else. Hang in there ![]()
Thanks @POET . I’ve already gotten some answers in regards to my health issues so I’m glad I chose to do tge tests. More tests to come
You’re not a loser, you’re a winner: you worked a significant length of time and I know you’ve said you had a hard time even leaving your house before getting these jobs. Losing this job is a setback, not a failure. Hopefully, you’ll work again but even if you don’t you gave it your best shot and that’s what counts.
Thanks @77nick77 .
That’s great your boss is understanding
I hope you could enjoy your day
Thats a unique boss. Most places are meant to make provision for “mental health” wellbeing. Very few allow for it. Your chap is a goodun.
