Work is ok. Im thinking about asking for more if they hire me based on experience. Just $4 more as most techs make $35 an hour.. The man they were supposed to be hiring, his background check must’ve fell through because he never came. All my maintenance buddies told me to stay put. One other said to move back to facilities maintenance to make money. I’m just tired honestly. Might take a break for just five years. They keep saying my supervisor is gatekeeping because he’s old but I’m not really worried about it cause I’m smart and hard working. Just tired lol Money is not a concern for me right now, peace of mind is. I’ve been in this survival mode of being obsessed with being rich. It’s exhausting. Right now I’m in an apartment alone. My supervisor had to run to Lowe’s and the apartment turn is done so it’ll be an hour or two before he gets back. I think I’m just bored.

I hope you can get fair wages. It hurts when you’re paid less than others with the same skills and time on the job

Thanks. $21 an hour is about 43,600 so it’s not as bad. I have an EPA certification also think it’s just cause I’m working temp. My supervisor is gatekeeping but I’m just going to work there for five years and take classes on the side so I can eventually be an administrator. I know what he’s doing lol
