I like it here. I don’t know if I’ll rejoin the old forum if it comes back on. I deleted the old forums app on my phone anyways.

I suspect that the website will come back and the old forum will come back in the limited form it was prior to shutdown. If it comes back at all. So this is probably all moot.

You may not realize this, but if that is something you would even consider doing then you should stop accepting donations via patreon and gofundme.

YOu are right. I probably shouldnt consider that. I was just trying to think of a way I could shut down if thats what people wanted without keeping money that was intended for the site.
I probably shouldnt even had entertained this hypothetical. I was just responding to what @Schizbro said. It mostly like will be that schizophrenia.com 's forums will remain in the limited capacity they were a few days ago if they return at all.
I honestly was just trying to think of a way that I could dispose of the funds if people were to decide we should shut down (hypothetically). I dont want to be stuck with a bag of money that I am not entitled to.

I guess the only solution is what I have said before. TO remain open until funds are exhausted even on the slight chance that people decide they want to move.

I agree. If the money can’t be returned to the donors, then I think we should stay open until the money runs out.

Agreed. I think this is all moot anyway. I dont think sz.com is going to try to restart forum as it once was. So we will remain.

Doing the good thing…problematioc and there’s issues there for sure. I think this is probably the right way to go but sort out a sussesctnan plan and keep it going! It’s never too late to plan for the future and if you’ve a patreon then advertise it so peeps can contribute.
