How do I handle this?

I was at work today and I keep getting put into situations with different men where I could be locked inside a storage unit. Today my manager said to help two man unlodge their camper for their truck from the storage unit. It was caught on the lip of the door. I was in a particularly vulnerable position, on the floor. I don’t think I’m gonna do that any more. Then there’s this lady that had 100 packages delivered to the building and I had to help her put them in the storage unit. And then they were speaking with a tenant who left cardboard strolled all over the back of the building because they were mad that it flooded. My supervisor told them to take it to the dump but they told him no and instead of cleaning it up himself or helping me he left it for me to do. The cherry on top is the owner of the company came yesterday and he didn’t even introduce me. Not that I care but I’m starting to see a pattern. Both my managers are men.

Men are like this with women, you’re not imagining it. In my experience it’s because we don’t want to get entwined, we’re rubbish with our feelings. This is not a plea for forgiveness or justification but it might be better to try with a different company. They don’t want to overstep but they need the work done, so they’d rather be uninviting than too accommodating. if it was a man, the man would start getting lax about his effort. whereas with you’d probably work harder if they were accommodating - i think it’s a social skill issue on their part

Being friendly doesn’t come naturally to a lot of us, it takes a lot of empathy imo, and that only builds with emotional turmoil. Something not everyone goes through is what i’m thinking is happening - I doubt that they mean any malice, but they’re being careless quite literally and that’s not a nice environment to work in

I could be completely wrong on the psychology but this is how I’m understanding it atm

I don’t wanna leave I just maybe need to speak up more maybe. It just happened so fast.
